Ballet BC is seeking an Artistic Director to lead its artistic team. We are an internationally acclaimed, collaborative and creation-based contemporary ballet company serving as a leader and resource in the creation and production of, and conversation about, contemporary dance in Canada and internationally.
The Artistic Director will build on the legacy developed over 10 years by outgoing Artistic Director Emily Molnar and expand it with their own artistic vision to maintain the highest possible presentation and production standards for the Company. This position is an exceptional opportunity to inspire and lead Ballet BC’s collective work to investigate and develop a diverse repertoire of works at the forefront of contemporary ballet that communicates and contributes in meaningful ways to the future of dance, dance artists and audiences in Vancouver, Canada and internationally.
