CAMA a.c. is looking for 1 performer to join the team of Daniel Matos’ new creation “A Pedra, a Mágoa”.
In this new creation, Daniel Matos proposes to revisit and recompose Claude Debussy’s “Prélude à l’après-midi d’un Faune”, relating the concepts of destruction, myth and romanticism in a work dedicated to his parents.”

CAMA a.c. is looking for 1 performer to join the team of Daniel Matos’ new creation “A Pedra, a Mágoa”.
“In “A Pedra, a Mágoa” (The Stone, the Sorrow) the family entity is placed as an object of study, focusing on the hierarchical constructions that make it up, based on a traditionalist mentality in which parenthood assumes a mythological role as an untouchable heroic space. Questioning the limbo between public and private, the body is seen as an open-air excavation, a body left behind, a body of abandonment, a beast of burden similar to the 1,750 inactive quarries in Portugal.

Applications to audition are open between 6 and 16 September 2023, via the Google form.
