25 March 2018 at 11 a.m. for the selected dancers of the first day

The audition will focus on:
* technical training

* personal interview
The results will be communicated by e-mail on March 27th, 2018.
Only 12 participants will be selected to participate in the residency’s program.
The training (2 x 30 days) will be composed of two parts: the theoretical part, on the one hand, will include warming up techniques, study of the company’s recent choreography and repertoire, exchanges with artistic directors and members of the company, two public performances, and workshops on the topic of “management”. The practical part, on the other hand, enables the young dancers to discover the everyday working life of two different companies with their respective artistic identity, cultural context, creative repertoire and functional structure. Training participants will discover tools to manage real-life situations and will develop entrepreneurship skills adapted to the specific needs of the labour market in the world of dance.
“Start for Dance” offers candidates an opportunity to increase their employability and to strengthen their professional development. Throughout the whole training period,
participants will be supported by experts, trainers, and pedagogues from the world of dance and the business management sector.
Moreover, project partners will gather and exchange experience, knowledge and best practice and hopefully, in the end, employ new dancers for their companies.
The selected dancers will benefit from 2 months of residency:
