Choreographer, Tom Jackson Greaves, is embarking on a new creation for a dance theatre production that will tour in 2018 and is looking to meet new dancers.

Tom is carrying out a week of research and development w/c 4 December 2017 and is looking to audition male and female contemporary dancers of black and minority ethnic heritage to take part in the R&D stage of the project with the potential to go on and have involvement in the full production next year.
Dancers must be comfortable with working with text and any interest in singing is a plus.
The workshop-style audition will take place at Sadler’s Wells on Friday 17 November. Dancers must be available for the entire week of R&D that is taking place at Hall for Cornwall. The work is paid and travel and accommodation will be provided.
The deadline for applications is midday on Tuesday the 14th of November.

TOM JACKSON GREAVES
Tom was born in Cornwall, trained at London Contemporary Dance School and is a director/choreographer working worldwide. He is an associate artist at The Watermill.
Tom started his career as a performer with Matthew Bourne’s ‘New Adventures’ creating roles and performing in Cinderella, Nutcracker, Early Adventures and Sleeping Beauty. Other performance highlights include Kes at Sheffield Crucible and Tristan and Yseult for Kneehigh Theatre.
Tom creates and directs his own dance theatre creations and highlights include Run For Your Life (Kneehigh Theatre); Neptunalia (Cscape Dance Company); Seven Deadly Sins (UK Tour) and Vanity Fowl (Sadler’s Wells).
Work as a choreographer in theatre includes: Boudica, The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Shakespeare’s Globe) Conquest Of The South Pole, Fiddler On The Roof -Broadway World Best Choreography Nomination (Liverpool Everyman Company), Tristan and Yseult (Kneehigh Theatre 2017 Restaging), The Borrowers, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, Frankenstein (The Watermill), The Life, Teddy (Southwark Playhouse); Peter and the Starcatcher (Northampton Royal & Derngate); The Ostrich Boys (Coventry Belgrade), Juicy and Delicious (Nuffield Theatre); So Here We Are (Manchester Royal Exchange); The Glass Menagerie (Headlong); When We Were Women (The Orange Tree); The Crocodile (Manchester International Festival) and music videos and live performances for C. Duncan, Boy George and Clare Maguire.
Tom won the New Adventures Choreographer Award 2012, was a recipient of the Marion North Mentorship Award at the Bonnies in 2015.
