Modern Dance Theater M.D.T. in Ankara, Turkey, is looking for versatile contemporary female and male dancers with a strong ballet technique and theatrical ability for its productions in spring season 2024 and whole season 2024/25 . Contracts can be renewed for the new season if the terms are mutually agreeable.
Established within the General Directorate, in February 1993, M.D.T. started to stage works that were qualified as professional repertory community with its first performance.
Within 30 years, over 50 foreign choreographers and trainers and over 20 Turkish choreographers and trainers produced more than 100 works, in both small and large scale.
M.D.T. continues to its representations and tours with new works added to its repertoire as well as performances that it made on the stage of the Ankara State Opera and Ballet Directorate.
M.D.T. is Turkey’s first institutionalized contemporary dance society, which is the most dynamic, mobile and productive unit of the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet.

Auditions for the Company will be held December 2023 and are by invitation only. To be considered, please send your audition materials to inanc@ankara.edu.tr by November 20, 2023.
Your application must include your Photos (Obligatory), your CV, a video link (Without Password) introducing you as an artist and presenting your personal movement style, a solo. The film should be no longer than 5 minutes in total.
No other documents or information is required, if you are invited to the audition, necessary documents will be requested.
