DIAVOLO: Architecture in Motion is seeking male and female dancers and movement artists to join our Los Angeles based company, VOLO, for paid rehearsals and performances. 

Where: Diavolo 616 Moulton ave Los Angeles CA, US

When: December 4th 10am-5pm

We are looking for smart and creative performers with a versatile skill base and a willingness to enhance their own acrobatic and physical theatre abilities. We are seeking fearless, athletic performers who thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy pushing themselves physically and mentally. Performers with strong partnering skills that have technical dance training in modern, ballet, breakdance, hiphop, martial arts, gymnastics, acrobatics, circus arts, or tumbling please apply. Training will be provided for the right candidates.

To be part of creating a new show, “T.R.U.S.T.” exploring themes such as risk, teamwork and self expression. Funded by the California Arts Council, this show will be performed in schools in Los Angeles County as part of DIAVOLO’s ongoing educational programming. 

Must be available for all rehearsals and performances.

Times: 9am-5pm
Location: All rehearsals are at DIAVOLO Studios, 616 Moulton Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90031


Performances
Dates: 1/17/20, 1/31/20, 2/7/20, 2/14/20, 3/11/20, 3/16/20, 3/19/20, 3/20/20, 5/4/20, 6/11/20
Time: School hours (early morning calls and done before 3pm)
Location: Schools in and around the Los Angeles area


VOLO dancers have the opportunity to:

Take class and perform alongside the DIAVOLO touring company
Participate in “The Veterans Project”, a program that uses DIAVOLO’s unique style of movement as a tool to help restore veterans’ physical, mental, and emotional strengths through workshops and public performances in communities all around the country.
Access to free use of our LA studio and performance venue “The Space at DIAVOLO”
