The interdisciplinary company GesamtAtelier is looking for a male/female/other contemporary dance artist (paid opportunity) to join us for the creation and world premiere of our new production “Loom” at Megaron Athens Concert Hall.

GesamtAtelier, Kyriaki Nasioula and Argyris Angeli, wish to meet male/female/other dancers for our new interdisciplinary dance performance which will be presented in February 2022 at Megaron Athens Concert Hall, with the financial support of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The company’s practice involves the interaction among contemporary dance, architectural structures and objects, interactive video projections, sound systems etc. The dancers who wish to audition would need to be keen on the aforementioned way of working, be experienced in improvisation and developing individual movement material, have advanced technical skills in contemporary dance and be punctual.

Rehearsals will take place in Athens and their duration is:

1/11/2021 – 26/11/2021

3/1/2022 – 2/2/2021

Occupation is on a basis of five working days-five hours a day.

Dates for the official performances are 3-6/2/2021, with a chance of 4 additional performances on 10-13/2/2021.

The piece may tour abroad.

For the production of the upcoming piece we are looking for one person.

The audition will take place on the 9th and 10th of October 2021 and participation will be announced through invitations, due to health and safety circumstances. Getting familiar with the structures requires time, therefore participants’ attendance is required for both days.
