The work

Rodadoras is an outdoor performance which crosses boundaries of dance, installation and performance art. Performed in a bed of soil the work explores the link between Women and the Earth. Through a mixed movement language of contemporary dance and capoeira, the performers will roll, fall and slide through the soil performing a rhythmical jig of floorwork.
I’m now going to develop the original scratch into a 20minute piece. You will take part in workshops during the project from renowned artists and will receive CPD classes in Capoeira.
*Rodadoras is subject to funding and successful applicants will be notified of the outcome prior to the audition.
