For all dancers who want to pursue a professional career in the artistic contemporary dance sector, D.A.F. organizes professional paths, aimed at deepening and perfecting one’s artistic experience from a soon-to-be professional perspective.

Dance Arts Faculty, an exclusive international center based in Rome for the start-up and professional updating in dance conceived through a European project, boasts an innovative and transversal educational program that involves some of the most famous exponents of the international ballet scene, both in the role of teachers as well as employers for future job opportunities for course participants.

technique and creative workshops on choreographic composition, floor work, partnering work, contact improvisation, technique and contemporary repertoire of important international companies, technical study and Spellbound Contemporary Ballet repertoire, monthly residences for original creations through a selection among some of the most important and innovative choreographers on the national and international scene, Project HE(ART) aware processing from gesture to movement

COMPLEMENTARY SUBJECTS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
hatha yoga for dancers, qi gong, postural gymnastics, master stretch, study and urban dance technique, digital technologies for entertainment, cinema and new media, electronic music, body awareness, bioenergetics, anatomy …

Exclusive prerogative of the D.A.F. on the entire Italian territory, is the presence of choreographers, who hold classes of laboratory and monthly choreographic residences where original creations have been made for students who accept the possibility of debuting each month with a new work, moreover a selection of the same make up the examination committee, coming from some of the most important companies and theaters on the international scene thanks to the active presence in the organization of the Department of International Relations and Projects, in collaboration with the European Dance Alliance-Valentina Marini Management that opens a window in operational contact towards the international contemporary scene and foreign professional networks. The next step activated in the current season was launched by a new and exclusive project: the birth of a network of companies constantly connected with the students and prompted to act as incubators of new career possibilities.
