Applicants should have a strong sense of musicality and a dynamic movement quality. You will need to be confident with verbal audience interaction and be able to judge and respond to an audience reaction in real time. You should have an interest in performing outdoor and developing work for children.

We are also looking for performers who have any physical or musical skills outside of dance although it doesn’t have to be on a professional level. (e.g. instruments, singing, martial arts & circus tricks).

If you are successful, Sarah and Yuki will work closely with you to teach the already existing duet, however, your own creative contribution will be highly encouraged as it is important that you feel confident and authentic in what you are performing.

We are committed to building a culturally diverse workforce to authentically represent S A Y and actively encourage applications belonging to ethnic groups that are currently underrepresented within the Arts.
