MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) is elated to announce its eleventh annual Collective Thread Dance Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2026 7 pm EST at Harlem School of the Arts Theater, 645 St Nicholas Ave, New York, NY 10030 & Livestream with on demand viewing option. Collective Thread provides a voice and a platform for artistic self-impression to those women identifying artists of underrepresented ethnic groups within the medium of dance. PLEASE NOTE MADC uses the term “women” to encompass all those who self-identify as women including cisgender, transgender, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming. The 2026 open submission call is until 11:59PM EST on Sunday, November 30. There is a $10 application fee to submit that goes towards production fees. There is no participation fee if chosen.
