Dance and movement arts professionals based in Spain and/or Portugal are invited to submit their projects for the selection of 11 artistic and/or research residencies (technical residencies are excluded) to be carried out between April and November 2025 (six of them in Lugo of which three will be for applicants aged 30 and under and five on an exchange basis with structures in Spain, Portugal and Costa Rica).

ATOPÉMONOS BAILANDO is the programme of artistic residencies and research co-organised by the dance company Colectivo Glovo and the Department of Culture, Tourism and Language of the City Council of Lugo, with the support of the Xunta de Galicia through Agadic, aimed at dance and movement arts creators from Galicia, the rest of Spain, Portugal and Costa Rica, with the MIHL Museum in the city of Lugo as its epicentre.
The programme of artistic and research residencies “ATOPÉMONOS BAILANDO” 2025 also enables the exchange of five of the residencies selected through this call with five other international residency programmes.
These exchanges are the result of collaborations between the AB Residencies in Lugo and entities in Spain, Portugal and Costa Rica.
The AB residencies are intended for individual professionals or teams who base their artistic work around movement and the body.
