South East Dance is currently recruiting three or four Assistant Dance Artists to support Lead Dance Artists to deliver 4 Dance to Health Programmes in dance classes across Oxfordshire.

The Dance to Health Programmes uses evidence-based falls prevention exercise programmes within a creative dance class. Each programme runs one dance session per week over six months plus a small amount of homework; a total of 50 hours.


Assistant Dance Artists will be required to attend a Cascade training day on Thursday 23rd November, venues to be confirmed but will be in North Oxfordshire. This training must be completed in order to begin the role, if you are unable to attend the above date we may also schedule another possible date in December to please do let us know.

Once the Cascade Training has been completed, Three Improvement Programmes will launch in December 2017.

This is a Freelance contract. Day rate: £100 (fee may include time outside the session each week liaising with participants and South East Dance)
