NOD stands out for its commitment to research and innovation in contemporary dance.
Our facility offers students a unique chance to join an international network and work directly with professionals who shape today’s contemporary dance scene.

NOD offers two distinct programs: NUOVA X and ICD.

ICD Program: 
– The program offers participants the unique opportunity to work with guest artists and choreographers from some of the most prestigious dance companies in the world. Each week introduces a new movement practice and research focus, requiring participants to adapt to diverse movement qualities and develop a wide range of skills
– Typically involves weekly or biweekly sessions. 
– Schedule: 
Monday to Friday, 9:00–13:30 (Mon/Wed/Fri) and 10:00–13:30 (Tue/Thu). Ballet class (Mon/Wed/Fri)

NUOVA X :
– Program directed by Tom Weinberger and designed around creative processes and new works. 
– Each trimester, participants work with two international choreographers on new creations, focusing on research and artistic development. 
– the program emphasizes vulnerability, generosity, and a collaborative journey. 
 – Schedule: Monday to Friday, 14:30–18:30 (4 hours/day) for 12 weeks. Ballet class (Mon/Wed/Fri)

How to apply:
In order to apply, please upload your CV together with two separate links – one showcasing yourself in an improvisation session ( 1 minute – 1 take ) and one where you execute a set piece of choreography ( max 2 minutes ). Only Vimeo or YouTube links filling out the Google doc form to the link
