Choreographer Anderson Carvalho is looking for Cape Town based professional contemporary dancers.

Anderson Carvalho Dance & Choreography is holding online auditions for Cape Town based professional dancers with a strong contemporary dance foundation and performance experience to join the company’s new project season from February to May 2023, with a possibility of international touring in July 2023.
Reflecting on ACDC’s work, we are particularly interested in receiving applications from professional dancers who are interested in working in an open and collaborative environment, and who think beyond boundaries. This is an opportunity to work with us on a truly captivating production and experience a creative process where creative freedom and movement research is central.
Project term: 1st of February till 31st of May 2023
Rehearsal period: 3 days a week, 4 hours a day – Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays including performances in Cape Town.
Financial compensation ZAR 10,000 + Transport + Discretionary bonus
A passport valid for at least 2 years is a must.
All candidates must be available for the beginning of the season on the 1st of February, times and dates are not negotiable.

3. a video link (YouTube or Vimeo) with a video sharing details of your training and a solo/improvisation (maximum duration of the total video is 3 minutes).
