International Online Workshop [Zoom]
Carlos Rodero

A one six-hours session workshop to research and develope a rehearsal methodology for creating a piece inspired in a non-conventional dramaturgy.

During the workshop we will explore this methodology from a practical point of view that might be useful for any performer or director/choreographer who are willing to create a performance using any kind of resources like text, sound-music, objects, movement, etc in an alternative way.

As an example, among others, we will use a short text by Samuel Beckett, Still [Inmóvil]

We offer two dates:

July 17 from 10,00 to 16,00 Budapest GMT+2 [for participants in Europe]

July 18 from 16,00 to 22,00 Budapest GMT+2 [for Canada, US and Latinoamérica participants]

A Dramaturgy brainstorming
Text Analysis
The Improvisation Script
Inputs and feedback
Open Rehearsals
A Dramaturgy in progress
Final Rehearsals

A detailed programme will be soon available for all participants

We will offer the chance to any participant, to make a proposal after the workshop [based in the contents of the workshop] and share it with us. MISERO PROSPERO Project will choose one and invite it next Springtime 2022 to Budapest, with the aim of developing it and might be included it in a new production of short pieces with a commercial perspective.

A detailed call will be available soon for all participants.

The workshop will be held in English.

We will provide a video recording of the workshop session.
