4Pointe Level 1 Teacher Certification is a four-day professional development course for ballet teachers, pointe instructors, dance educators, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and dance medicine professionals seeking a deeper understanding of pointe readiness, alignment, articulation, and healthy progression into pointe work.

Developed by internationally renowned dancer and educator Lynne Charles, 4Pointe is a somatic and mindful method of teaching pointe work created to address the evolving demands placed on today’s dancers. While choreography, training practices, and dance medicine continue to advance, pointe training has seen little change. 4Pointe provides a progressive framework that helps dancers develop strength, articulation, efficiency, and confidence while supporting long-term health and career longevity.

During the certification, participants will:

• Learn a progressive system for training pointe strength, alignment, and performance

• Gain practical tools that can be applied immediately in the studio

• Develop a deeper understanding of foot and ankle articulation, intrinsic foot strength, and pointe readiness

• Explore applications for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sustainable pointe progression

• Join the international community of 4Pointe Certified Teachers

The course is suitable for professionals working with pre-pointe, intermediate, advanced, and professional dancers and is designed to complement traditional ballet training while preparing dancers for the demands of contemporary and classical repertoire.
