In 12.ance 2024, let us refocus our attention on non-verbal communication through movement as we return to the fundamental motivations that drive us to move—to sense, to connect, to communicate, and to work. Immerse in the art of movement as a universal language that transcends words, and create deep connections through dance.
This festival facilitates moments for sharing and performance, appreciating the many interpretations and possibilities that contemporary dance offers. Participants are invited to step into roles as both learners and creators, discovering fresh ways of thinking about movement and expression. Through working with artists of diverse philosophies and methodologies, the festival encourages everyone to challenge your physicalities and perspectives on contemporary dance—whether it’s through technique, improvisation, or creative process—and connect with the evolving world of dance.
