Winter Tanz offers a range of contemporary teaching approaches from somatic techniques, body work, contact improvisation and improvisation, company repertoire to traditional dance forms – as always accessible to different levels and age groups and easy to combine with each other.

For the first time our guest at Tanzfabrik is K.J. Holmes from New York, who will start Winter Tanz with a week-long intensive combining improvisation, composition, and BMC. After many years again, we look forward to welcome again the outstanding dancer and choreographer Noa Zuk from Israel, with Gaga / dancers and Ohad Naharin’s repertoire. Jeremy Nelson and Kirstie Simson will once again both teach during the first week of January and perform two solos on 05.01.2018. Also for the first time in our program is an introductory workshop on Steve Paxton’s Material For The Spine, taught by Otto Ramstad during the first January weekend. And there is much much more…
