The Moving Cities Open CallThe Moving Cities project is seeking dancers for the film, Moving Southwark. Sponsored by the Arts Council England, the project aims to create 10 expressive visuals marrying dancers with city.

When: 12th July 2015

We are asking classical and contemporary dancers to devise 2 x 30-second dramatic, emotional phrases that evoke rituals. Pieces must be powerful, detailed and inspired by percussion / electronica. Phrases should not be focused on virtuosity, floor work or allegro, but more on the content of the material.

We are looking for solos, duets and groups. Dancers can be male, female between 18-50. Participants are advised to familiarise with the Moving Cites project before applying at www.moving-cities.com

Featured dancers will be given a 2-hour time slot between 28th – 29th July to be filmed. The fixed fee for this is £100.

Please send a cv, recent photo along with a video link to dance work to rosie@windandfoster.com. If selected for an audition you will be asked to attend a casting between 9am-6pm on Sunday 12th July. Please make sure you are available for entire day.
