TAW is a one-day intensive which helps you prepare for the different aspects of the auditioning process. We do this by offering individual feedback, given to you by professionals in the field who will observe you in the workshops throughout the day.
TAW is open to professionals, as well as professional dance students in their final year. 2nd Year students are also welcome!
Where: The Place, London.
When: Sunday 22.4.18
We will next host Hofesh Shechter Company with Kim Kohlmann and Mickaël Frappat leading the workshop. Kim was trained at Codarts, Rotterdam Dance Academy and has been with the company since 2012 performing a range of Hofesh’s repertoire including in In your rooms, The Art of Not Looking Back, Political Mother, Political Mother: The Choreographer’s Cut, Sun, Orphée et Eurydice, barbarians & Grand Finale. Mickaël was trained at Epsedanse Montpellier, under the direction of Anne-Marie Porras, and has been with the company since 2017 with Grand Finale being his debut performance for the company.
The mentors for this day will be Wayne Parsons and Nicole Guarino. Wayne is a choreographer who runs his own company (wayneparsonsdance.com) and Nicole is a dance artist who has performed with Scottish Dance Theatre, Introdans and Mark Bruce a.o. The mentors will be observing you throughout the workshop and you will be given the feedback they write at the end of the day to take home and reflect on. You will also have a speedy 1-2-1 with either Wayne or Nicole to ask any questions and share your thoughts.
