METAMORPHOSIS III – Improvisation and Movement Research Festival 2017 aims for research and exploration around Improvisation.

With a wish to create a nourishing space for growth and inspiration – Individually and collectively.

We offer daily classes, Intensive Workshops, and evening Improvisation sessions, full accomodation with organic food.

Where: at a Waldorf School “Solvikskolan”, 50 km south of Stockholm/Sweden.

When: July 4 – 9, 2017

Deadline for application: April 30, 2017

A beautiful group of international teachers from different backgrounds will offer their knowledge, experience and research in Improvisation and Performative Practices.

The teachers are invited to share their material, challenge the habits of the participants and help each one develop in their own practice.

This year we aim to gather a smaller group of about 50 participants. The classes will have the intimate number of 15-25 participants in each group.

We are curious to see how our creativity can colour our being, both inside and outside of the studio. Being a smaller number of participants we hope to create the space to meet and be together in a sense of a community for these few days.

How can we create a space where we invite reflections and conversations to be part of our research in the dance studio as well as over the shared meal.

We would like to invite movers who have a strong desire to develop their dance, coming from different backgrounds, but with the common ground of dedication and motivation to go deeper in their practice.

How to apply: Fill out the online form at our website with your details and motivation letter.

Costs for participants: sliding scale between 335-400 EURO (all inclusive)
