  • Creating, rehearsing and performing the company’s mid-scale and outdoor dance work, nationally and internationally.
  • Planning, delivering and actively participating in the company’s learning and participation programme
  • Assisting in and working on the company’s Talent Development Programmes

Protein Dance CompanyLuca Silvestrini’s Protein is looking for experienced dancers and physical theatre performers with strong technique and contact work. Candidates must be familiar with working within a devising process and experienced in working with improvisation and text. Strong singing skills and experience are also required.

Deadline for application 17.00 Friday 22 August

Successful candidates will be invited to a two-week research and development project in London from 24 November – 5 December towards Protein’s new production in collaboration with composer Orlando Gough.

Salary is dependent on experience.

From March 2013 (subject to funding), Katie Green will be working with writer Anna Selby to create a new children’s dance theatre piece for performances in museums and theatres, supported by the dance team of Lincolnshire arts organisation artsNK and Lincoln museum The Collection. The new piece will bring together a collection of up to six solos, each representing one of the bizarre, beautiful artefacts in an imagined museum and the eccentric characters who look after them. The solos will also come together as part of an overarching mystery, which the audience will have an opportunity to unravel throughout the performance.
