Nicolas Vamvouklis invites Stockholm residents to participate in his choreographic project FRAGMENTA. The performance is part of the STOFF 2015 and takes place in the Medborgarplatsen (Medis) from October 21st till 23rd.
DANCE AND URBAN MAPPING
Fragmenta investigates the configuration of the city landscape and the porosity of the human body bringing together in the heart of Stockholm a movement installation featuring its residents.
Placed in the symbolically charged Medis Square, performers observe and explore the urban space through a spontaneous kinetic vocabulary based on simple movement. Their body and mind start blank and acquire knowledge as the territory is impressed on them. People, animals and vehicles passing-by interact with them in a unique way.The performers are invited to join at least one of the 3 sessions:
Wed. 21/10 at 15:45
Thur. 22/10 at 13:30
Frid. 23/10 at 12:00
The call is open to all Stockholm residents even without previous performing arts experience. There is no age or other restriction.
The duration of each performance is 45 minutes. The performance will be structured after discussion and rehearsal with the choreographer on Tuesday 20th October at 15:30. The meeting will be held at the Humlegården Studio, look situated in Norrtullsgatan 12N, Brygghuset (Metro station: Odenplan). For more information, contact: email@example.com or +39 3240858072
