The fifth edition of the competition DanSe ÉlarGie is organised by the Musée de la Danse, rennes (France) and

the théâtre de la Ville, Paris (France) and accepting applications.

Through four editions of the competition (and in less than ten minutes, each time), we got to see: three hundred people enter then exit the stage; a badminton match played by children; three generations of Peruvians singing and recounting the story of their country; forty-three bodies poised between death and ecstasy to the airs of an opera; droves of jumpers who had previously only met on Internet; a group named nouslovechachacha; a drummer hammering away at his drum kit with sticks made of plaster; twenty-five dog-walkers; a sheep waiting his turn in the wings; alligators in conversation with Dick Rivers; a meditation workshop; dance is a dirty job but somebody’s got to do it; a TED Talk on the use of guns with the intent to shoot dancers; boxing; aerobics; a competition within the competition; not to mention the expunging of the moon in exactly ten minutes.
