The State Opera Ruse Ballet are looking for professional ballet dancers.
Where: Ballet studio of The State Opera Ruse, Bulgaria
When: 10-11 (Saturday and Sunday) February 2018
Deadline for applications: 5th February 2018 until 17:00
The candidates should send an email to email@example.com with the following information until the given deadline:
- 3 pictures: a portrait, a frontal full body with visible contours and an arabesque picture;
- Show reel/video-links of two variations: a variation that represents a classical ballet technique (on pointe for women) and a variation (perhaps with a partner) that represents a contemporary technique.
The audition will be held on 10th and 11th February 2018 from 14:00 in the ballet studio of The State Opera Ruse Ballet on the following address: 32 Mutkurova Street, 3rd floor.
The aim of this audition is to recruit ballet dancers for the upcoming ballet premiere of Swan Lake.
All candidates must be at the place one hour before the beginning of the audition.
Only candidates who are born between 1st January 1988 and 31st December 1998 will be admitted to the audition.
The assessment of the candidates will be based on their level of performance of the classical exercise.
Candidates may be asked to present one (1) variation of the classical repertoire and one (1) contemporary solo of their choice at the discretion of the Commission led by the Creative Director Sylvia Tomova.
Candidates must bring with themselves the music of their solo performance on CD or USB Flash drive.
The approved candidates will be offered a fixed-term contract for (1) one year with an option to extend the term.
The classical repertoire of The State Opera Ruse Ballet includes Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker.
The Modern repertoire of The State Opera Ruse includes: Romeo and Juliet, A Flight Towards The Light, The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs
